Golf
My Hawaiian friends have a saying, "its not the drive, it's the arrive." That pretty much explains how you can hit a fantastic drive only to end up with a triple bogie.
Golf can be a pretty frustrating game, but if you really work at it, it can be very rewarding. There is nothing better than being out on the fairway on a beautiful day with your friends, especially if you are hitting the ball good.
Anyway, depending on how hard you enjoy "working" on your game, there are different types of courses that you may enjoy. Me, I like the long fairways, the par 4 and 5's where you can really smash your drive, and try to connect to the green with your second shot. A good example of this is Torrey Pines Golf Course in San Diego. If you can make it out of the treacherous rough, like Tiger Woods does, driving down hard on the ball, you will really enjoy the scenic holes overlooking the Pacific Ocean. If you prefer shorter fairways, there are plenty of well groomed "executive" golf courses to choose from. Some people like to mix it up.
Depending on which cities (or countries) you intend to visit, Maeva Tours can offer you the best accommodations and arrangements from a golfer's perspective. We might even suggest that you take a short trip south of the border to Mexico's Bajamar's Oceana course, comparable to world famous Pebble Beach but without the high cost..
Please let us know which type of course or specific courses you prefer, and leave the rest to us. We can arrange for you to be on the greens within moments after your arrival.
