TAHITI TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

* RESERVATIONS AND DEPOSITS *

A deposit is required at time of booking to request services. Special designated vacations and bookings made 45 days (all referenced days are calendar days) or less prior to departure, will require full payment at time of booking. All balances are due 45 days prior to departure. Special deposit policies may apply to certain products and will be advised at time of booking. If payment in full is not received 45 days prior to departure, airline and all other reservations will be canceled. Maeva Tours is not responsible for any penalties, fare increases or fees charged for reinstating an airline reservation or all other services due to non-payment. Certain vacation packages or individual vacation components may require full payment at the time the reservation is made.

* FORMS OF PAYMENT *

Payment may be made by check, bank deposit, debit and credit card from American Express, Diner’s Club, Discover Card, MasterCard, Optima, Visa

Maeva Tours only accepts responsibility for a customer’s check if customer’s check is made payable to “Maeva Tours”. All returned checks are subject to a $45 service charge.

* LATE BOOKINGS *

Maeva Tours accepts reservations up to three business days prior to departure, if permitted by air carrier tariff rules and subject to availability. For reservations accepted within 30 days before departure, a special handling fee of $100 per booking will be assessed.

* PEAK SEASON TRAVEL PERIODS ARE *

6/1/11 to 10/31/11
12/11/2011 to 1/6/12.

* NON-PEAK TRAVEL PERIODS ARE *

1/7/011 to 5/31/11;
11/1/11 to 12/10/11.

* DOCUMENTS *

Documents will be mailed 14 to 21 days prior to departure if payment in full is made at least 45 days prior to departure. Documents will not be released until full payment has been received. Late payments may require documents be sent by overnight shipment billed to recipient.

* PASSPORTS AND VISAS *

U.S. citizens are required to possess a valid passport that must be valid for at least three months after leaving French Polynesia. Citizens of all other countries may need a VISA in addition to a valid passport and should consult the nearest French Consulate or French Embassy as early as possible. Travelers who are required to have a VISA should apply as early as possible since it can take several weeks to obtain a VISA. It is solely the passenger’s responsibility to ensure that all required travel documents are complete and up to date for valid entry into the country. No refunds will be made to customers affected by their failure to possess proper documents.

* CHANGES *

A fee of $125 per booking, per change will be assessed for each voluntary change made to the original booking, including change in assigned flights before departure (if possible), hotel/cruise or room category, departure date and/or itinerary. Additional change fees may be charged by the airline and other suppliers. Changes made less than 30 days before departure are subject to a $200 charge per change, plus any airline, hotel/cruise or other supplier change fees that may apply. Change fees will be waived if caused by airline originated changes.

* IMPORTANT *

Any change made to a booking will result in the booking being re-priced to the rate in effect at the time the change is made. A name change is a ‘cancellation’ resulting in a new reservation in the new name.
